Yumbox Review

We have been fans of  theYumbox since they went on the market. So when they got in touch with me and asked if I would like to review a box and host a giveaway for them I jumped at the chance!

If you do not know what a Yumbox is let me tell you...

Yumbox are lovely bento lunch boxes. The inserts that fit inside the boxes allow you to pack up a variety of foods in ideals portion sizes. The Yumbox is designed with a leak proof lid so you can pack yogurts or dips with no worries that it is going to leak into the other compartments. Therefore there is no need to use cling film or plastic bags or various different boxes. Everything can be packed in the one box. No only is this easier but will also save you money on food wraps and is also environmentally friendly as you will be reducing your waste.

The Yumbox insert has lovely illustrated trays which are easily removable for cleaning. Each compartment is designed and labelled to help make sure that you are serving a balanced meal. It labels the key food groups of fruit, vegetables, grains, protein, dairy and of course a section for a treat!

Classic Yumbox

Panino Yumbox

The Yumbox comes in two insert sizes. The classic size, which I find to be the ideal size for the twins and the panino which is great for the bigger kids and adults.

We all love everything about Yumbox. It is a great size for the twins to carry around and they love finding the pretty illustrations as they tuck into their lunches. The hubby has even taken the panino lunch box to work with vegetables, fruit, sandwich and dips.

If you are looking for a great lunch box then I would thoroughly recommend buying a Yumbox. Priced at £24.95 it is higher than regular boxes, but this is not a regular lunch box. It is made to a high quality and will last a lot longer than cheaper lunch boxes. It really is worth every single penny!

This week I am launching a fantastic giveaway from Yumbox and Sweetpea Pantry. They will be giving away to one lucky Hijacked By Twins reader a Yumbox of their choice and 3 baking mixes from Sweetpea Pantry.

Tomorrow I will be sharing a post all about the delicious Sweetpea Pantry which will be followed by all of the giveaway information so keep and eye out!

Disclosure: I was sent a Yumbox for the purpose of this post and giveaway. No cash payment was received. All views and opinions and my own and 100% honest.
