Seeing the foods change with the seasons is a great way to plan your meals. Seasonal foods tends to be more economical to buy and if you have a vegetable garden it is ideal for homegrown vegetables. This year I am wanting to pay more attention to Mother Nature and her seasons and eat around what fruit and vegetables are at their best according to the seasons. While I was planning my year and looking what was in season I realised that others would also benefit from this information and #SimplySeasonal was born.
Simply Seasonal is a new monthly linky for bloggers to share their seasonal recipe posts. Each month I will create a new linky where they can be shared. I hope that it will, in time, become a valuable source of both information and inspiration for others. The linky will be open all month and I will have a list of seasonal fruits and vegetables for you to work with. Then it is over to you to share your seasonal meals. All I ask is that the recipe uses one or more of the fruits or vegetables that are in season during that particular month. The recipes can be vegetarian or include meat but the focus should be on the seasonal produce. I will write a round up of the recipes at the beginning of the month and will share via Twitter, Pintrest and Stumbled Upon throughout the month and obviously comment on any posts that have been shared.
Let's enjoy the seasons together and promote what is at its best throughout the year!
